The Junior Content Designer will support the Marketing team in the creation and maintenance of content across digital, print, website, and social media channels. This role is ideal for someone with strong creative and visual communication skills who is looking to develop their experience in content creation, graphic design, and digital marketing within a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities and duties:
- Design marketing visuals and collateral across digital and print channels, including social media creatives, website banners, digital advertisements, presentations, brochures, and datasheets.
- Create, format, and publish content for digital platforms, including website pages, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and newsletters.
- Support website content updates, landing page creation, and visual enhancements.
- Assist with the creation, editing, and organization of visual and multimedia content, including images, videos, and other digital assets.
- Maintain and organize the company's digital asset library, including templates, images, videos, brand resources, and marketing materials.
- Assist in the preparation of marketing content and collateral for trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer events, and other promotional initiatives.
- Assisting with product photography and videography projects as needed.
- Maintain the social media content calendar, monitor social media channels, support community engagement, and track basic social media performance metrics.
- Ensure consistent application of brand standards across all marketing and communication materials.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support content development and marketing initiatives.
- Support the Marketing team with content-related projects and other marketing activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign), or similar design tools.
- Strong visual design, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, video production, filming, and video editing is an asset.
- Portfolio showcasing design, content creation, or digital marketing work is preferred.
Recent graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
